Long time no chat.

What the frick!? It's been forever since I've posted anything on this site. And since I really am starting to hate FACEBOOK. I think using this blog as an outlet for my own skewed view on things So what the hell, I can rant and share fun links and people can take it or leave it.

There you go.. hmm what to chat about. Well I've really grown my freelance business this year and it's been really lucrative for me. To the point where I'm going to have to get a business license. hmm hmm. That seems more of a stress for me than a boon, but we'll see what all the in's and out's are and try and come out on top.

Stephen King gets on the old REBOOT bandwagon...

I know you've heard the term, 'REBOOT' and it used to mean restart your computer, but now it's synonymous with what appears to be cash grabs by movie studios. With Most of the people that were around when classic films were made getting older. Studios have started to re-make films, these reboots allow the studios to get a new audience hooked on whatever franchise they can bastardize.

just recently it was announced that FIRESTARTER and MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE would get remade. really? we need to remake these films? there isn't an orginal script out there somewhere that should be brought to the big screen. Whatever happened to 'its been done' are there no original idea's out there any more?

But its not just older films that are preying victim to the ol 'reboot' why just earlier this year Spiderman it was announced that spiderman would get the ol reboot. That film is only a few years old? whats the deal? if they start rebooting reboots we'll need to start a civil revolt, because that's just going to far.

So I'm knee deep in haunteddesktops.com it's an awesome site with Free Desktops and artwork for everyone. Its been a rather time consuming task creating a new Desktop and new t-shirt artwork each week. But it's getting there, and I hope after some time to get a lot of repeat fans.

New Year - New Post

Well it's a new year and a new post... about time huh... I've had a lot of things happen since the 9th of Nov. I'm officially a member of the Dad club! yup I got me a tiny chip off the ol block as it were. Ayden was born on Nov 13th, a wee bit early as his due date was Feb 25th 2009. But I was happy to see him regardless, he was sent to a special hospital for sick kids about an hour away from where I live. And is still there. Ya he's had a heck of an adventure so far - but he's still truckin'. His cousins have called him A-train because he just continues to go.

Other wise Exotique is out now, my painting is on page 82. And I was requested to submit for another book. So I'll have to get something together for that. I'm excited tho'

Well I'll try and keep the posts a little more frequent from here on in.
