It was a total fluke that I stumbled upon Sylvia Ritter's artwork but I'm glad I did. Her merging of a digital world with the natural world is a pretty cool theme. She does it in a lot of her work. All of her pieces use light and dark to focus the eye rather than just depict the way the light would naturally fall. This technique could be adapted to design work quite easily.
