Invisible Shield for Your Car.

Many of us have nice cars. And we've either had them painted, bought them painted or painted them ourselves and, we would like to protect the investment. Historically you'd do that with a clear coat. Lots and lots of clear coats. But even that isn't as durable as we would like. Well in this age of new technologies and polymers there are applications you can make to your car that act very similar to your screen protectors on your phone or tablet.

PPF (Paint Protection Films) are available for vehicles from a number of vendors. Vvivid vinyl in Montreal offers a new a new breed of PPF, made using a blend of ultra-conformable polymer compounds. It can be stretched with or without heat. Resistant to abrasions, light damage and yellowing.

Here is a scratch on a car protected by a PPF.

To repair the scratch you just replace the PPF on that panel. You can see under the paint is so well preserved it's showing the reflection from the scratched film above it.

Just pull off the film and replace with a new PPF.
