X-Wing Pilot Uniform

Growing up in the late 70's early 80's Star Wars was very much a part of the pop culture. Everyone I knew wanted to own a suit of Stormtrooper armor or be a Jedi knight. We would talk about it and discuss hypothetical story plots longer than we should have. Not exactly the height of coolness back then but now in the era of Geek chic, we're able to proudly wear our interests on our sleeves knowing that it's accepted. One costume I always wanted to a have was the X-Wing fighter pilot. Those X-Wings were so slick. It would be incredible to imagine flying one of those, but having my feet firmly planted in reality the closest thing to being there is looking like you were. So that's where cosplay comes into the mix. There are tons of resources for people who want to dress up like their hero's.

Well, luckily I'm not alone. A fella calling himself Darthhair has started up an Etsy Store Darth Hair's Prop FX or DHPFX. He offers kits to build your own X-Wing helmet, and chest box.

Once you have your helmet built you will need an orange flight suit and flak vest then the chest flight computer.
